Por decisión del Gobernador de San Luis, Claudio Poggi, la Doctora Alicia Bañuelos ha dejado el Rectorado de la Universidad de La Punta (ULP). Su separación del cargo fue transmitida por Néstor Ordoñez, Secretario General de la Gobernación.
Luego de más de seis años al frente de la institución que ejecuta la Agenda Digital del Gobierno de San Luis, se le pidió a Bañuelos que dé un paso al costado. Al mismo tiempo, se le ofreció continuar como asesora en la planificación de la política digital provincial, cargo que no aceptaría.
Con la generosidad y el afecto que la caracterizan, Alicia Bañuelos se despidió de todo el personal de la Universidad que ha acompañado su exitosa gestión, y manifestó sus mejores deseos para todos.
