Se lanzará una diplomatura sobre la temática dirigida a egresados y estudiantes de informática, diseño gráfico y carreras afines. El cupo será para 40 asistentes y la participación gratuita.
Buenos Aires, 12 de marzo de 2012.- Con la idea de integrar distintas especialidades, la Universidad de La Punta (ULP) pondrá en marcha la Diplomatura en Desarrollo de Videojuegos, una propuesta pensada para preparar perfiles con conocimientos en programación, diseño y arte. La actividad inicia el viernes 23 de marzo, y habrá encuentros todos los viernes hasta el 19 de octubre. La propuesta será gratuita y el cupo es para 40 alumnos.
El videojuego es un producto conformado por tres áreas: el game desing, la programación, y la artística. Actualmente, tanto en el mercado local como internacional es difícil para las empresas conseguir profesionales que reúnan esos tres perfiles.
La diplomatura tendrá 32 horas cátedras por módulo: “Game art”, “Game desing” y “Programación”. La propuesta está pensada, especialmente, para egresados y estudiantes de informática, diseño gráfico, publicidad, marketing y carreras afines, como así también para estudiantes de la tecnicatura Producción de cine, video y TV, de la ULP.
Durante la iniciativa se abordará la historia de los videojuegos, los géneros comerciales frente a “juegos serios”, plataformas y formatos de juegos, documentos de diseño, proceso de desarrollo y guionado, creación de videojuegos, detección del público, costos y negocios de un videojuego, y marketing. Serán ocho clases en total, en las que se verán casos de desarrollo y se harán prácticas. El cierre será con un trabajo final.
La plataforma de trabajo será ActionScript 3.0 orientado al desarrollo de videojuegos. Sobre esa herramienta se hará una introducción, símbolo clip de película, líneas de tiempo múltiples, introducción a la programación orientada a objetos, trabajo con matrices, sonido en línea de tiempo, formatos de publicación, entre otros puntos.
